The SBS-1er Virtual Radar - What does the SBS-1er do?
The first biggest milestone for aviation enthusiasts was the ability to be able to purchase an airband radio or a scanner as they are more popularly known and use the device to listen into communications between pilot's and Air Traffic Control. Now for the next biggest milestone, the ability to be able to "see" where an aircraft is whilst in flight, and that is exactly what both the SBS-1er and Air Nav Virtual Radars allow you to be able to do. Using ground -breaking technology, the SBS-1er receives through its supplied aerial Mode-S/ADS-B signals from Mode-S/ADS-B transmitter fitted aircraft. The signals are feed to a receiver/decoder and then presented to the user on their pc using a software application that comes with the kit.
