The UK airspace ban was finally lifted on the 21st April 2010, this meant that bristol airport along with other uk airports were able to re-open and allow the airlines to resume their services.
Although the airport didn't fully resume normal operations until a few days later, the airport had a working plan in place to help to get things going as quickly as possible.
