Explanation of ILS categories

CAT 1 - Operation down to 60 Metres decision height with runway visual range in excess of 800 Metres

CAT 2- Operation down to 60 Metres decision height with RVR in excess of 400 Metres

CAT 3- Operation with no height limitation to and along the surface of the runway with external visual reference during the final phase of landing with RVR of 200 Metres.

Exmoor 1X	Climb straight ahead, at 3000ft or 4.5 DME turn left on to 225 towards SOMAT to intercept BRI NDB(L) QDR 247 to Exmoor. Cross SOMAT above 3500ft - for N864 Southbound
Departures via Runway 09
Brecon 1Z	Climb straight ahead, at 4.7 DME or 3000ft turn left on to heading 305 to intercept the Brecon VOR for N864 Northbound or L9 Westbound
WOTAN 1Z	Climb straight ahead, at 4.7 DME or 3000ft turn left on to heading 033 to intercept the Honiley VOR to WOTAN for L9 Eastbound
Exmoor 1Z	Climb straight ahead, at 4.7 DME or 3000ft turn right on to heading 268 towards SOMAT to intercept BRI NDB(L) QDR 247 to Exmoor. Cross SOMAT above 3500ft for N864 Northbound

BRI 1A	Arrivals via RETSI (UN862/N862/UN42/N42), Continue on heading 186 to Amral then Riles then Dobem. At Dobem turn left on to NDB (L) BRI QDM 168 to the Bristol NDB
BRI 1B	Arrive via L9 to the Strumble VOR then intercept the Brecon VOR on heading 108 to Brecon VOR via Amman then at Brecon VOR to right on to heading 139 to the BRI NDB
BRI 1C	Arrival via L9 to the Compton VOR, continue on the Compton VOR heading of 276 to POMAX then turn left onto NDB(L) BRI on heading 253 to NDB(L) for BRI
BRI 1D	Arrival via N864 to Berry Head VOR intercept the VOR on heading 009 to Exmoor via Tinan, continue on NDB(L) BRI QDM 066 to NDB(L) BRI
